K-61 Heavy Tracked Amphibian

The K-61 is an unarmored, tracked transport vehicle with a watertight steel hull. The crew compartment at the front accommodates the commander and driver. The cargo compartment at the rear has a large loading ramp. The suspension consists of seven small road wheels with the drive sprocket at the front and the idler at the rear. The K-61 is unique among former Soviet tracked vehicles in that it has no track support rollers, but uses seven support slides. The vehicle is propelled in water by two propellers.
