ISU-122 Heavy Assault Gun

In September 1943 went into production a new IS-1 (IS-2) heavy
tank Although similar in appearance to the KW tanks, the IS has
new engine, new transmission and better armored protection. On
the new tank chassis was mounted 152 mm Mk.1937/43 gun-howitzer or Mk.1931/43
122 mm gun. End of 1943 began serial production a new ISU-152/ISU-122 self
propelled guns. Since summer 1944 ISU-122 was used by Polish
Army.
In museum since 1988 (example without gun).
