WSK Mielec TS-11 "Iskra" 200 Art

This prototype aircraft is the "Iskra" jet trainer version built for reconnaissance and observation duties in direct support of ground forces. In the rear cockpit a map table and observation equipment were installed. Three AFA-39 cameras were installed in fuselage and engine covers. Designed as a replacement for the SB Lim-2A artillery reconnaissance. Only five reconnaissance aircraft as "Iskra" bis C had been produced (on March 1972) and on March 1983 rebuilt to standard trainer version.

Testing in 45th Experimental Flight, Modlin.
?, substitution of SO-1 engine for SO-3.
?, To Aeronautical Institute in Warsaw (last fly 3 May 1985).
On July 28, 1988 it was transferred to Museum.
