Sukhoi Su-7U

The first Su-7 attack and tactical nuclear bomber made its initial flight on September 7, 1955 and between 1961 and 1971 had been delivered to Soviet Air Force and foreign users. The trainer version Su-7U was flown on October 25, 1965. The second seat for instructor was placed in the longer fuselage. Su-7 took part in Egypt-Israel, Syria-Israel, India-Pakistan, Iraq-Iran and Afghanistan wars. Between June 1964 and January 1988 a total 6 Su-7BM, 31 Su-7BKL and 8 Su-7U(UMK) trainer version had been delivered to Polish Air Forces. Polish Su-7U and BKL was designed to attack with 8U46 or 8U47 (5 KTonn) nuclear bomb which was carried on left underfuselage hardpoint. Poland was using Su-7 up to June 1990.
