WSK Swidnik SM-2

The first SM-2 helicopter made its initial flight on November 18, 1959. SM-2 was designed as an improved version of SM-1 with the cabin enlarged for 5 persons. Between 1960 and 1962, 85 helicopters were built in the ambulance and liaison versions for Polish and Czechoslovakian users.
The helicopter was manufactured in 1961 in ambulance version as fifth serial SM-2 and second for Polish Air Force.
