WSK Swidnik (Mil) SM-1 (Mi-1)

The Soviet Mi-1 light helicopter made its first flight in 1948
and since 1950 had been produced for the Soviet Army and civil
users. Soviet Army used Mi-1 for liaison and observation duties.
The Polish Aircraft Factory WSK No.5 in Swidnik built the Mi-1
under a licensing agreement. Helicopter went into production as
SM-1 in 1957. When production ended in 1965, a total of 1594
helicopters had been built. Majority of those helicopters have
been exported to Soviet Union.
This helicopter (one from four) was made from soviet parts before
serial production.
