WSK Mielec (Mikoyan G.) SB Lim-2M (UTMiG-15)

SB Lim–1 jet trainer aircraft was a two-seat version of the Lim-1 fighter (licenced MiG-15). The second seat for instructor was placed in the area of main fuel tank, which was reduced. Also the armament was reduced to 12.7 mm or 23 mm machine guns. Since 1960 many WSK Mielec Lim-1 rebuild in Maintenance Unit to SB Lim-1 jet trainer version. Since 1965 this aircraft was modified to SB Lim-2 with VK-1A engine, SB Lim-1A and SB Lim-2A artillery reconnaissance, SB Lim-2M trainer versions.
